A platform for the presentation of scientific profiles and publication activity provided by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology
In addition to the literature database PSYNDEX and many other products and services for your scientific work, the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID) operates the author database PsychAuthors: It allows publication-active psychologists from German-speaking countries to archive relevant information about their academic activity - short scientific vita with institute affiliations, research interests, editorships, etc. as well as their publications listed in PSYNDEX.
- PsychAuthors permits a precise tracking of academic activities that go beyond publication activities. This information provides more reliability and fairness in the assessment of academic performance in evaluation programs than one-dimensional citation-analytic indicators.
- Archiving by a publicly funded institution will ensure the long-term preservation and visibility of the authors' life's work.
- PsychAuthors allows academic CVs of numerous authors to be accessed quickly and easily from a subject-specific starting point, thus increasing the visibility of these CVs and facilitating professional as well as social contacts.
- Your author profile in the PsychAuthors database features two subsections: Detailed information on academic activities and employment history as well as a list of publications linked to references in the PSYNDEX reference database (complete list only until April 2022; starting MAY 2022 only references from the previous five years which qualify for indexation in PSYNDEX). Linked PSYNDEX records can be viewed on the PubPsych search platform.
